Introduction

The Guild of Stewards (often called the Guild) is a service arm of the Church charged primarily with the responsibility of maintaining orderliness at church services and functions. Guild members are the first point of contact with the parishioners and visitors during services and church functions.

Membership of the Guild is open to any willing, registered and financially up-to-date   member (male or female), baptized and confirmed (communicant) of the Church who is above 18 years and does not belong to any secret cult or secret society.

Structure & Numerical Strength

We have a current numerical strength of over 100 members (including “Distant Members” – those currently outside the country), that cuts across all strata of the congregation.  Currently, the Guild operates in two groups.  Appreciation

We thank all members of the congregation who continue to co-operate and show     understanding in the discharge of our duties.

We also wish to enjoin the Vicar to remind the parishioners to ensure that MOBILE PHONES (IF THEY MUST BE BROUGHT INTO THE CHURCH) ARE SWITCHED OFF BEFORE ENTERING THE CHURCH.  Parishioners should equally be advised to obey the Covid-19 safety protocols, take good care of their handbags, particularly, while going for thanksgiving and Holy Communion.

We further request the Vicar to appeal to parents and guardians to ensure that their children and wards are sent to the Sunday School during church services because they will benefit more there. Nursing mothers are to be reminded to go to the gallery as soon as they enter the church.

Finally, we invite all willing parishioners to join us in the service of the Lord and enjoy the fellowship and be blessed like us.
