LIFE AFTER LIFE

The eternal life that one is transformed to live after one might have died is life after life (life after death).  The soul lives the carcass and be with Jesus Christ life after life is a life or existence believed to follow death, this type of existence is seen according to the narrative of Lazarus and the rich man (Luke 16: 19-31), therefore there is life after death in Hell and there is life after death in Heaven.  The truth is, God never made us to die.

Death of the body was not God’s original plan, it is the result of sin.  When Adam and Eve committed the first sin (disobedience to God), sin entered into this world; as a result of it, every one of us will face death at sometime.  When we die, we will also face judgement before God.  “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgement”  (Hebrews 9: 27).  Death is an enemy.  I Cor. 15: 26 says, “The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death”.

There is only one way that we can overcome both death and the fear of it; that is through the One who conquered death –  JESUS.  Revelation 21: 4 “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, no pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

The death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God has now made a way for us to also conquer death.  Romans 8: 37  “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us”.

Brethren, I employ you to live a life that will be beneficial to the kingdom of God.  Life that is not influenced by lust.  Matt. 16: 33 is a pointer “seek ye first the kingdom of God and all other things necessary for our life and beneficial for our souls will be added to it both in this world and in the world to come.”  Jesus Christ came to this world to save sinners, therefore, we should embrace His plan for our life and fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul, but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.  Matthew 10: 28 – Jesus Christ came to this world to deliver us from spiritual death.  Matt. 10: 28 had actually explained, this death is eternal separation from God, it extends beyond mortal bodies, it means that we will exist forever.  Though hell is a place of torment, the main source of its torment is the ETERNAL SEPARATION FROM GOD.

This is far more serious than anything we can imagine, just as heaven is more beautiful than anything we can conceive.  God never created hell for mankind, it was created as a fiery furnance for Satan and the fallen  angels.  Men are going there because they have chosen to follow the devil and have rejected Christ.  Matt. 25: 41 “Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.  “When the will of God is accomplished in our life that we turn to Him and be Christ like, I Cor. 15: 54-57 explains.  Then, when our dying bodies have been transformed into bodies that will never die, this scripture will be fulfilled, “Death is swallowed up in victory, O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?.  For sin is the sting that results in death, and the law gives sin its power.  But thank God!  He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Christ has gone to prepare a place for us in heaven.  John 14: 1-3 “Do not let your hearts be troubled.  Trust in God; trust also in me, in my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you.  I am going there to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.” Yes, after we must have passed away from this earth through death we as children of God who died in the Lord will join the host of heaven to sing alleluia where there is no torment, this is exactly what is called LIFE AFTER LIFE.

The moment we die, our soul goes to be with the Lord.  2 Cor. 5: 8 “Yes, we are fully confident, and we would rather be away from these earthly bodies, for then we will be at home with the Lord.”  and we shall dwell with the Lord forever.   Revelation 14: 13.  And I heard a voice from heaven saying , “Write this down; Blessed are those who die in the Lord from now on, Yes, says the Spirit, they are blessed indeed, for they will rest from their hard work; for their good deeds follow them!”

Life after life is real!.
