- 2015 FAMILY DAY OF THE CHURCH:- Our annual Family Day comes up on Saturday, 14th March, 2015 in the Church Hall. Time:” 10.00 a.m. Members should please endeavour to attend with their families. It would be exciting.
- DIOCESAN VICTORY NIGHT: The first Diocesan Victory Night for this year comes up on Friday, 13th March, 2015 at Immanuel Anglican Church (beside the Magistrate Court), Mobil Road, Apapa. Time: 10.00 p.m. Theme: Jesus, the Rock of Ages (I Cor. 10: 4). Bus would leave at 9.30 p.m. Please be there and God will bless you.
- IKOYI ARCHDEACONRY JOINT PCC RETREAT: All members of the 2015/2016 PCC will meet with those from other churches at a Retreat in Our Saviour’s Church, TBS on Saturday, 21st March, 2015 at 9.00 a.m. with the theme “Why have a Parish Church Council?” All members are requested to please attend promptly and participate fully. 11 INDUCTION SERVICE FOR 2015/2016 PCC MEMBERS: The Induction Service/Ceremony for those elected and appointed at last Sunday’s Vestry meeting would be on Sunday, 22nd March, 2015 during the Healing & Testimony Service at 9.00 a.m.
- WEDNESDAY IN LENT SERVICE:- Date: Wednesday,4th March, 2015 at 6.00 p.m. Kindly come with a friend or colleague and attend punctually.
- CHURCH NEEDS: The PCC in October, 2014 decided:
(a) to modernise the Church Sound Systems for the Church, Choir, the Praise Band, Chapel and Church Hall from analogue to digital at a cost of about 160,000 US dollars
(b) enhance the Main Church Pipe Organ with a 32-foot Bombarde pipe at a cost of GB £96,000.00
(c) rehabilitate the the Chapel Pipe Organ at a cost of GB £165,000.00
The balance of the funds raised for the Pipe Organ has now been grown to about £150,000.00 after paying G. Cappa its outstanding claims of about N9 million Naira. The Church now needs the sum of GB £100,000.00 and US $150,000.00 to supplement what is available. Transfer could be made to the Church’s UK account in either GB pounds or US dollars. The Lord would bless you as you assist with these projects.
- LEKKI PHASE II CHURCH:- As part of saying “Thank You” to God for its first centenary, the Church is about to build a church in Lekki Phase II. The 2000m2 land allocated by the Lagos State Government will be paid for early this week. Has God blessed you and you want to appreciate Him? Then please write your cheques in favour of Our Saviour’s Church, TBS and endorse it “Centenary Church’. Thank you and God bless you.
- DEW OF HERMON (Psalm 133: 3): A New Dawn is here! Join us every FIRST DAY OF EACH MONTH (other than Sunday for an hour of Revival at 6:30 am. Come and receive power for a closer walk with God for the rest of the days of the month. Don’t miss this refreshing experience in the presence of the Almighty God.
- MISSION SEED ENVELOPES: You are invited to help empower His Grace, our Diocesan Bishop to help needy parishes and the mission fields in the diocese, within and outside the country by contributing at least One thousand Naira monthly towards the Mission Seed Project. Mission Seed will be collected TODAY and on every first Sunday of the month, but you could also pay during the week. Please collect and use a set of envelopes to help you pay regularly and God will bless you abundantly.
- TITHE ENVELOPES: God has asked you to obey Him by bringing in the FULL tithes into His storehouse and put Him to test if He will not rain blessings on you.To help you do this, the church has provided envelopes for regular tithing. Please collect yours from the Guild of Stewards. The Lord will bless you with His abundance as you obey Him. Tithes are collected every THIRD Sunday of the month. Please note that you can continue to pay your tithe at any other time of the week or make a direct transfer to the Church’s Bank account.
- HARVEST COMMITTEE MEETING:– The Harvest Committee meeting takes place on Wednesday, 4th March, 2015 at the Youth Hall. Time: 6.00 p.m. Invited members and those willing to contribute positively to the success of this year’s harvests should please, attend the meeting. Thank you and God bless you.
- EMERGENCY MEETING OF MEMBERS OF YOUNG WIVES FELLOWSHIP :- There would be an emergency meeting of the Young Wives Fellowship with Mrs. Augusta Ikeakor today, immediately after the service at the Chapel Extension. Members should please be punctual.

- COMPULSORY PRE-MARRIAGE COUNSELLING: Please note that the pre-marriage counselling has started. The purpose of Counselling is to prepare our children on how to establish and maintain harmony in their marriages. The programme is intensive and will take minimum of 12 weeks. Every potential couple should take note and avail themselves of this golden opportunity. Parents should also note that this should be the first step in preparation for their children’s wedding.
