IKOYI PRISON SURGERY THEATRE – APPEAL FUND FOR CONSTRUCTION:  Our Saviour’s Prison Welfare Ministry (PWM) every year faces the challenge of facilitating over 80 Ikoyi Prison inmates minor surgeries such as hernia etc. As their clinic has no Theatre, Prison Welfare Ministry goes through cumbersome and costly logistical challenges to provide them surgery at Kirikiri Prison’s Minor Theatre. The alternative is to obtain surgery in another hospital at about N400,000 per patient. The Prison Welfare Ministry has therefore designed a Minor Theatre and upgrade for existing Clinic at Ikoyi Prison at an estimated cost of N12 million, which have received Prison authority’s approval and blessing of the Church.

The Church has now awarded the contract and is sourcing funds to meet the construction cost. The Prison Welfare Ministry therefore appeals to parishioners and their friends to donate generously towards this project.  Remember our Lord’s injunction in Matthew 25v36 that we should minister unto the sick and those in prison. Fellow parishioners, this is the time to do it for our Lord and Saviour.  Please indicate Prison Surgical Theatre on your cheque or transfer.
