- Christ is Risen! He is risen indeed! Halleluia!. We congratulate our parishioners, all our loved ones and other worshippers this morning on the celebration of Christ’s resurrection and our victory over Satan, Sin and the World. God will empower us with the Holy Spirit daily so that we can reflect Jesus Christ and His Victory and Joy in our lives always. We also pray that we shall live long in robust health, peace and prosperity to celebrate more of it in the years ahead in Jesus name.

- INAGURATION OF THE SUB-COMMITTEES OF THE PARISH CHURCH COUNCIL FOR YEAR 2017/2018: The inauguration and swearing-in of the Committees of Council as announced last Sunday will hold next Sunday, 30th April, 2017 at our combined service at 9.00 a.m. We appeal that all of them and the PCC members that missed the swearing-in should be present punctually. - PRIMATE’S MEETING WITH PROMINENT ANGLICANS: The meeting will hold in Abuja on May 4, 2017. Please all our members invited should endeavour to be at the meeting. The Primate is counting on you and he is also praying for you.
- SUPPORT FOR CLERGY STIPENDS IN SELECT DIOCESE OF THE CHURCH OF NIGERIA: At the just concluded Standing Committee meeting of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), it was decided that parishes and individual (so touched) should please support some of the weak dioceses in the payment of their clergy stipends. INFORMATION FROM THE DIOCESE:
THE SECOND SESSION OF THE 33RD SYNOD OF THE DIOCESE OF LAGOS: The 2nd Session of the 33rd Synod of our great diocese begins today Sunday, 7th May, 2017 with the Opening Service at the Cathedral Church of Christ, Marina at 4.00 p.m. Synod meetings will hold in our Church from Monday, 8th May to Wednesday, 10th May, 2017 to start with Holy Communion Services/Mattins at 8.00 a.m. daily. The Clergy Conference will hold on Thursday, 11th May, 2017 at 9.00 a.m.
We bespeak the prayers of the faithful for the Diocesan and President of the Synod, The Most Revd Dr. E. A. Ademowo, OON, FNAL, Ph.D, all other members of the Synod and also for a wonderful and resounding successful synod session.

- PARISH WOMEN’S ANNIVERSARY WEEK: All women should please, note that this year’s Women’s anniversary week will commence from Sunday, 30th April, 2017 with a 3-Day Revival (Monday – Wednesday) and Anniversary Thanksgiving/Awards on Sunday, 7th May, 2017 at both services.
- WOMEN’S GUILD MEETING/ CONTEMPORARY ISSUE: Date: Wednesday, 26th April, 2017. Topic: “Your dress is your address”. Time: 4.00p.m, by Mrs. Chinwe Osuno. May you be richly blessed as you attend.
- YOUNG WOMEN’S FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMME: The Young Women’s Fellowship programme comes up today, 23rd April, 2017 immediately after the 8.00am service. Two topics will be treated on the day (a) Fashion and Beauty (1 Peter 3: 1-4); (b) Television and children (Prov. 22: 1- 6). Speakers: Mrs. Magdalene Adegoke & Dr. (Mrs.) Furo Weli respectively.
- REGISTRATION FOR 2017 MOTHERS’ UNION ENROLMENT:– Members willing to enroll into Mothers’ Union for the year 2017 should please put down their names and telephone nos. with the Vicar’s wife (Mrs. F. Oyediran) or with the Admin. Manager today or within the week.
- WIDOWS’ WELFARE FUND: Kindly donate towards the Fund established to assist the widows of this church and God would visit you and all yours.
- DIOCESAN CHARITY DAY: The Charity Day for the needy within our environment comes up on Saturday, 20th May, 2017 at 10 a.m. We appeal for donations in cash and kind. Items needed include: Food stuff (Rice, beans, yam, noodles, vegetable oil, provisions etc.); new and fairly used clothing, kitchen utensils etc. These items should be deposited with the Vicar’s wife, any of the Curates’ wives or at the Church Administrative Office. - DIVINE ENCOUNTER (VIGIL): Our monthly Divine Encounter (Vigil Service) comes up on Friday, 28th April, 2017 from 10.30 p.m. The theme is: “The Lord is my helper (Psalm 121)” You are all expected to come and commune with our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
- BE CONSCIOUS OF YOUR VALUABLES: Members and visitors are henceforth advised to be conscious and take care of their valuables such as bags, telephone handsets, money etc. in the church and outside the church premises because of the bad elements that mingle amongst us.
- ILLEGAL PARKING ON GOVERNMENT ROAD: The Special Adviser to the Governor on Central Business Districts observed the illegal parking of vehicles within our environment, and advised that members should please, utilize the TBS parking lots being paid for, every Sunday.
- MEN’S CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP MEETING:- The meeting of members of the Men’s Christian Fellowship comes up on Saturday, 29th April, 2017 at 9 a.m. All members should endeavour to attend.
- THE LITERATURE AND PUBLICATIONS COMMITTEE: requests the submission of entries for the June 2017 edition of The Good Tidings Magazine. The entries may be in the form of articles, jokes, riddles, cartoons, etc., that would be of benefit to readers.
