- We welcome our father in the Lord, the Rt. Revd Michael Nazir Ali for worshipping with us and also preaching the sermon at this service. We pray that God will multiply his anointing in you and make your episcopal ministry a huge success. He will also grant you travelling mercies as you return to your country and diocese in Jesus name.
- We also welcome all our eminent guests (first timers) very specially and pray that God will orchestrate unusual testimonies in their lives and families in Jesus name. - WOMEN REVIVAL – SUNDAY 30TH APRIL TO WEDNESDAY, 3RD MAY, 2017: This revival with the theme “Women as Apostles of Christ – 2 Corinthians 5: 20” will continue in the Chapel tomorrow to Wednesday, 3rd May at 6.00 p.m daily. We appeal to all our parishioners and other worshippers to attend. It is going to feature healing, breaking of curses, deliverance etc. Bring other people with you and God bless you.

- DRESSING OF BRIDES AND OTHER MEMBERS OF THE BRIDAL TRAIN DURING WEDDING SERVICES:– We use this medium to appeal to all parents and guardians whose children (daughters or daughters-in-law) will be getting married to teach them the dignity of decent dressing, especially during wedding services. By decent dressing, we mean that the wedding gowns and other wedding dresses should cover the entire body. Any indecent dressings during such occasions will be frowned at and the clergy will not take kindly to it. This is a very important notice that must be taken seriously by all our parishioners and other worshipers because we will not compromise the Word of God for any reason.
- EPISCOPAL AWARD OF EXCELLENCE IN SERVICE:- In recognition of the sacrificial contributions to advance the Kingdom of God here on earth, our Diocesan and Dean Emeritus, Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), The Most Revd Dr. Ephraim Adebola Ademowo,has decided to honour two of our members: (i) Sir Stanley Amuchie; (ii) Mr. Akin Akinfemiwa, with the Episcopal Award during the 2nd Session of the 33rd Synod of our great diocese on Wednesday, 10th May, 2017 at 11.00 a.m in our church here. We congratulate them and identify with their success stories.

INFORMATION FROM THE CHURCH OF NIGERIA:
- PRIMATE’S MEETING WITH EMINENT ANGLICANS: The meeting will hold in Abuja on May 4, 2017. Please all our members invited should endeavour to be at the meeting. The Primate is counting on you and he is also praying for you.
- SUPPORT FOR CLERGY STIPENDS IN SELECT DIOCESE OF THE CHURCH OF NIGERIA: At the just concluded Standing Committee meeting of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), it was decided that parishes and individual (so touched) should please support some of the weak dioceses in the payment of their clergy stipends. INFORMATION FROM THE DIOCESE:
- THE SECOND SESSION OF THE 33RD SYNOD OF THE DIOCESE OF LAGOS: The 2nd Session of the 33rd Synod of our great diocese begins on Sunday, 7th May, 2017 with the Opening Service at the Cathedral Church of Christ, Marina at 4.00 p.m. Synod meetings will hold in our Church from Monday, 8th May to Wednesday, 10th May, 2017 to start with Holy Communion Services/Mattins at 8.00 a.m. daily. The Clergy Conference will hold on Thursday, 11th May, 2017 at 9.00 a.m.
We bespeak the prayers of the faithful for the Diocesan and President of the Synod, The Most Revd Dr. E. A. Ademowo, OON, FNAL, Ph.D, all other members of the Synod and also for a wonderful and resounding successful synod session.

- DIOCESAN CHARITY DAY: The Charity Day for the needy within our environment comes up on Saturday, 20th May, 2017 at 10 a.m. We appeal for donations in cash and kind. Items needed include: Food stuff (Rice, beans, yam, noodles, vegetable oil, provisions etc); new and fairly used clothings, kitchen utensils etc. These items should be deposited with the Vicar’s wife, any of the Curates’ wives or at the Church Administrative Office. - DIOCESAN WOMEN OF GRACE: Diocesan Annual Women of Grace Retreat comes up on the 13th of May, 2017 by 10.00am. All our women of grace should be there.

- BE CONSCIOUS OF YOUR VALUABLES: Members and visitors are henceforth advised to be conscious and take care of their valuables such as bags, telephone handsets, money etc. in the church and outside the church premises because of the bad elements that mingle amongst us.
- ILLEGAL PARKING ON GOVERNMENT ROAD: The Special Adviser to the Governor on Central Business Districts observed the illegal parking of vehicles within our environment, and advised that members should please, utilize the TBS parking lots being paid for, every Sunday.,
- THE LITERATURE AND PUBLICATIONS COMMITTEE: Requests the submission of entries for the June 2017 edition of The Good Tidings Magazine.
The entries may be in the form of articles, jokes, riddles, cartoons etc, that would be of benefit to reader. Please send soft copies of your entries to goodtidings@osc-tabs.or. if desired, authors may send in their photographs along with their entries. Please note the committee will review the entries and where contextual amendments are to be made, the committee will contact the author for approval.
- HOSPITAL VISITING MINISTRY’S/CHURCH CLINIC VISIT:- Members of the HVM/Church Clinic would be visiting a bereaved member today immediately after the combined service All the members & intending members should please note and attend punctually.
- INVESTMENT COMMITTEE MEETING: Members of the Investment Committee will meet on Wednesday, 3rd May, 2017 at 12noon prompt at the usual venue. All members are requested to be punctual.

- The family of Mrs. Omolara Onye (Church Accounts Officer) on the call to glory of her father, Mr. Lamidi Balogun after a brief illness. Aged: 70 years. He was buried on Friday, 28th April, 2017 at Ikorodu.
