GREETINGS AND FELICITATION

    1. All glory, honour and praises to God for His faithfulness and goodness that have hitherto preserved all of us.  We welcome all our parishioners and other worshippers at this service.  God will surround all of us with His presence and favour, and also steadily and with Divine speed fulfill His purposes in our lives and families in Jesus name.
    2. We welcome all our eminent guests (first timers) very specially and pray that God will orchestrate unusual testimonies in their lives and families in Jesus name. We appeal to them to fill the form given to them and to also wait briefly to see the ‘WELCOME TEAM” after this service.  They are also enjoined to each take a copy of our bulletin for reference.
    3. Congratulatory felicitations to all the birthday celebrants of the week. We wish them all longevity, robust health, sustained joy, divine peace and accomplishment in Jesus name.

  1. OUR EVENING OF PRAISE: We call on members to vounteer for the sponsorship of this monthly programme on the third Sunday at 5.00 p.m. in the main church.  You can sponsor it to celebrate/mark landmark events such as birthday, wedding anniversary, memorial of a loved one and other landmark events.  Whoever is sponsoring will finance the programme, give food or light refreshments to those who will be in attendance and will also be prayed for during thanksgiving.
  2. SITTING ARRANGEMENTS: We implore members to be punctual at all our programmes.  If any member arrives late, he/she should obey the Guild of Stewards by sitting wherever he/she is requested to sit.  Movements are only allowed when singing to avoid distraction.  Let us also ensure that there is orderliness during services and programmes.
  3. BOOKING OF EVENTS: Members are implored to see the Vicar for booking and not the Administrative Manager.  You can call to book for an appointment or see the Vicar’s Secretary.  He may have necessary information to give concerning the events and dates.
  4. SUBMISSION OF NOTICES FOR SUNDAY BULLETIN: This must reach the Vicar not later than Friday every week for adequate preparation.  Unless it is an emergency, nobody should send notices to the Vicar or any of the Curates during services.  Your maximum cooperation will be highly appreciated on this.
  5. We congratulate all the families that are featured in our bulletin for prayers today and pray that our prayers will be answered for them. WOMEN’S & GIRLS’ ORGANIZATIONS

  1. VISIT BY OUR WOMEN:- The women would visit our members that are ill or bereaved next Sunday, 19th February, 2017 immediately after the first service.  The church bus would  be available in the Church premises.
  2. WOMEN’S GUILD MEETING/HEALTH TALK: Date: Wednesday, 15th February, 2017 – Topic: “Bleaching of skin and its effectsby  Dr. (Mrs) Erere Otrofanowei.   Time: 4.00p.m.  May you be richly blessed as you attend.
  3. FACILITATORS’ TRAINING:- Date:  Thursday, 16th to Sunday, 19th February, 2017 at Eti-Osa Archdeaconry.  Time:  9.00 a.m.
  4. ZONE A WOMEN OF GRACE WORKSHOP comes up on Saturday, 18th February, 2017. Venue:  Faith Plaza.  Time:  9 a.m.
  5. PARISH GIRLS & LADIES GUILD’S COORDINATORS RETREAT: Date:  Saturday, 18th February, 2017.  Venue:  Church of the Nativity, Parkview Estate, Ikoyi.  Time:  11.00 a.m.  Coordinator:  Mrs. Yemi Ajayi.
  6. YOUNG WIVES FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMME: Date:  Next Sunday, 19th February, 2017 immediately after the first service.  Topic:  “Winning at work; losing at home”  (Prov. 31: 11-16; 27-28).  Speaker:  Mrs. Chinelo Ugoji.
  7. REGISTRATION FOR 2017 MOTHERS’ UNION ENROLMENT: Members willing to enroll into Mothers’ Union for the year 2017 should please put down their names and telephone nos. with the Vicar’s wife (Mrs. F. Oyediran) or with the Admin. Manager today or within the week.
  8. WIDOWS’ WELFARE FUND:  Kindly donate towards the Fund established to assist the widows of this church and God would visit you and all yours.
  9. MOTHERS’ UNION HOUSE FELLOWSHIP ZONES AND CO-ORDINATORS

OTHER INFORMATION FROM OUR PARISH

    1. 2017 VESTRY MEETING (Annual General Meeting):  NOTICE is hereby given that the 2017 VESTRY MEETING (AGM) of our church will hold on Sunday, 26th February, 2017 after the Joint  0900Hr.  Service in this church. All are encouraged to attend.  At the meeting, the Council you put in place last February will give a report of its stewardship and present  the audited Financial Statements for the year ended 31st  December, 2016. It will also afford all members the opportunity to express their minds on the management of the church’s affairs and also give suggestions for improvement. We hereby request for
      1. Reports from Ministries/Fellowships and the Committees of Council covering the activities for the year 2016, and should be submitted in soft and hard copies today, Sunday, 12th February, 2017.  
      2. Nominations for the following positions in Council, which will become vacant on 26th February,  should reach the Admin Manager not later than Tuesday, 14th  February, 2017 as follows:
        1. The People’s Warden –  one nomination per Ministry/Fellowship;
        2. 10 Councillors             –  two nominations per Ministry;
        3. 2 Auditors                   –  one nomination per Ministry
      3. The Church’s Nominal Roll: The lists of those qualified to vote and be voted for at the  February Vestry Meeting have been pasted on the Board.  Members should please ensure that they check and bring any corrections to the attention of the Admin Manager today or within the week. The revised and FINAL list would be on display on  Sunday, 19th February, 2017.
  1. THE PARISH CHURCH COUNCIL MEETING:The PCC members will meet on Tuesday, 14th February, 2017 at 5 p.m.   Venue: Church Hall.   All members are encouraged to attend promptly
  2. ILLEGAL PARKING ON GOVERNMENT ROAD: The Special Adviser to the Governor on Central Business Districts observed the illegal parking of vehicles within our environment, and advised that members should please, utilize the TBS parking lots being paid for, every Sunday.
  3. VISIT BY HOSPITAL VISITING MINISTRY/CHURCH CLINIC TO MASSEY CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL: Date:  Today, Sunday, 12th February, 2017 immediately after the first service.  Members should please note and attend punctually.
  4. ELDERS’ FELLOWSHIP MEETING: The Elders’ Fellowship meeting will now hold on Wednesday, 15th February, 2017 in the Chapel Extension at 10.00 a.m. prompt due to the workshop for all the clergy in the Anglican Churches in the Old province of Lagos held in our church.   All elders of 65 years and above are considered to be members and should endeavour to attend.

    3. Omemgboji Walter Chinwuba (WNC) father-in-law and father of Sir Barr.  M.C.K. and Lady (Barr) Mrs. Chinelo Ubah.  Aged: 78 years.  Service on  Friday, 24th February, 2017 at his compound, Enu Abomimi Village, Enugu-
