GREETINGS AND FELICITATION

    1. We are excited and very happy to have all our parishioners at this service. We pray that God will pour His blessings and Spirit upon you immeasurably now and always. He will make a way for each of you even where there seems to be no way. You will continue to be kept under the shadow of His wings in Jesus name.
    2. We welcome all our eminent guests with overwhelming joy and profound gratitude. We appeal to them to kindly wait to see the ‘WELCOME TEAM” after the service. They should please take the exit on the Lectern side and also fill the “First Timers’ Form” and return it to the ‘WELCOME TEAM’. Please study our weekly Bulletin and attend our programmes and activities as enshrined therein. God bless you richly
    3. We congratulate all BIRTHDAY CELEBRANTS of this week and felicitate with them. God Almighty will equip and anoint them to live long in sound health, renewed strength and peace, and they will all fulfil their divine mandate in Jesus name. Happy Birthday. Hurray and cheers!
  2. OUR WEEKLY ACTIVITIES: We are continuing with all these with renewed enthusiasm and passion after the celebration of Easter. We appeal to all our parishioners and other worshippers to show more interest and attend punctually. They are for our spiritual edification and total well-being. They are as follows:
    1. Daily Holy Communion @ 7.15 a.m. from Mondays to Fridays
    2. Hour of Divine Intervention on Wednesdays @ 6.00 p.m to 7.30 p.m.
    3. Bible Study on Fridays @ 3.00 p.m. – 4.30 p.m. & 6.00 p.m. – 7.30 p.m.
    4. Overcomer’s Hour – First Day of the month @ 6.30 a.m. to 7.00 a.m.
    5. Glorious Night – Last Fridays of the month @ 11.00 p.m. to 5.00 a.m
    6. Workers’ Retreat – as the Vicar deems appropriate.
  3. 2016 WOMEN’S HARVEST: Next Sunday, the 12th June, 2016 is our Women’s Harvest Thanksgiving. We shall have a Joint Service at 9.00 a.m. to celebrate the Harvest. Please, continue to pray for the Co-ordinator, her husband, her supporters and all our women for a successful harvest.
  4. FAMILY HARVEST: God expects each family to appear before Him at least once a year for thanksgiving and re-dedication. As families, it is important to give thanks in appreciation of His faithfulness and goodness to us and to also rededicate and recommit all members of our families to Him for safe-keeping, provision, defence, sustenance, preservation, good health, victory and joy. Please note that all members of the Church are expected to celebrate their annual Family Harvests. Kindly complete the enclosed form and return to members of the Guild of Stewards or the Admin’s Office, so as to prepare the roster without much delay.
  5. THE NEEDS OF OUR PARISH: We thank all our members for your continual supports, generousity and personal sacrifice. Your labour of love will not be in vain. We appeal to our members to pray concerning the following items which are needed by the church and as led by the Holy Spirit to assist in donating them:
    1.  Altar Cross (should be the latest and with steps)
    2. Imported sets of chassubles for the use of the Priests, for the celebration of Holy Communion.
    3. Processional Cross for the Altar Servers (imported)
    4. Toyota buses (High roof & Medium room)
    5. Copies of Hymn Books

  1. DIOCESAN LAGOS CITY-WIDE CRUSADE: Date: 7th to 10th June, 2016. Theme: “In Christ Alone” (Acts 4: 12; I Cor.). Venue: The Cricket Pitch, TBS, Lagos. Tuesday, 7th to Thursday, 9th June, 2016 – 5.00 p.m. daily; Friday, 10th June, 2016 – 11.00 p.m. The host is our Diocesan, The Most Revd Dr. Ephraim A. Ademowo, Ph.D, FNAL, OON, and the speakers are:

The Rt. Rev. Humphrey B. Olumakaiye (The Bishop of Osun North East Diocese) and The Rt. Rev. Timothy O. Adebayo (The Bishop of Igbomina West Diocese). Come and you will be richly blessed.          

 

WOMEN’S & GIRLS’ ORGANIZATIONS

  1. REGISTRATION FOR 2016 MOTHERS’ UNION ENROLMENT:– Members willing to enrol into Mothers’ Union for the year 2016 should please put down their names and telephone nos. with the Vicar’s wife (Mrs. F. Oyediran) or with the Admin. Manager today or within the week.
  2. MOTHERS’ UNION & WOMEN’S GUILD ANNUAL DUES:- Members of the Mothers’ Union & Women’s Guild are hereby reminded of the payment of their annual dues to any of the clergy wives today or within the week.
  3. SACRIFICE CARDS: We appreciate most sincerely all our women for their generousity ans sacrifice in this regard. The Lord will reward them bountifully and solve all their problems in Jesus name. We still appeal that they should please, not relent and God will do incredible things in their lives in Jesus’ name.
  4. IKOYI ARCHDEACONRY CLERGYWIVES FELLOWSHIP:- Today, June 5, 2016 at Our Saviour’s Church, TBS, Lagos. Time: 3.00 p.m. Topic: “Acknowledging God” (2 Sam. 5: 23). Speaker: Mrs. S. Abara.
  5. MOTHERS’ UNION MEETING/TALK: Date: Tuesday June 7, 2016. Talk on ‘Family Dynamics’ by Mrs. C. Okwuosa. Time: 4.00p.m. May you be richly blessed as you attend.
  6. WOMEN’S GUILD MEETING/TALK: Date: Wednesday, June 8, 2016 Bible Study 6 on “When God is hurt” (Hosea 5: 1-18) by Mrs. Tessy Ileka. Time: 4.00p.m. May you be richly blessed as you attend.
  7. LADIES & GIRLS’ GUILD INCLUDING BOYS’ PROGRAMME: Date: Today, after the first service. Prayer meeting on “‘No turning back” (John 21: 1-14) by Miss Chinmy Udemezue.
  8. WIDOWS’ WELFARE FUND: Kindly donate towards the Fund established to assist the widows of this church and God would visit you and all yours.

  1. ELDERS’ FELLOWSHIP OF OUR SAVIOUR’S CHURCH:- The monthly meeting of the Parish Elders’ Fellowship comes up on Wednesday, 8th June, 2016 at 10 a.m. prompt in the Chapel Extension. All elders of 65 years and above are cordially invited.
  2. BUSINESS FELLOWSHIP MEETING:- Programme: Breakthrough Fellowship. Date: Monday, 6th June, 2016, Time: 6-8 p.m. Venue: Chapel. Intercessory prayers to be led by Mr. Tunde Olaomo. Text: John 1: 43 “Lazarus arise”
  3. WOMEN OF GRACE MEETING:- The Women of Grace meets immediately after the first service today. Speaker: Mrs. Ngozi Arinze. Topic: ‘Let God and be thankful’
  4. REQUEST FOR ADVERTISEMENT IN THE WOMEN’S HARVEST SERVICE PROGRAMME: The Harvest Committee solicits for advertisements in the Service Programme of our forthcoming Women’s Harvest. The advert rates are as follows: Outside Back Cover – N350,000.00; Inside Back Cover – N250,000.00; Inside Front Cover – N250,000.00; Inside Full Page – N100,000.00; Inside Half Page – N50,000.00 and Inside Quarter Page – N30,000 (All in full colour).
