NOTICES

1. WELCOME- We heartily welcome you all who are worshipping God along with us today for the first time and pray that His love would be extended to you and members of your families. Kindly complete the form given to you and hand it over to the members of the church’s WELCOME TEAM who will meet with you at the CHOIR OFFICE point immediately after the service. Kindly join them through the Exit by the Lectern side of the church.
2. DAILY HOLY COMMUNION SERVICE: – Holy Communion is held every day at 7.15 A.m. (Monday to Friday). Please join us. God bless you.
3. SUNDAY 7.15 A.M. BIBLE STUDIES:– The pre-service Bible Study   holds today and every Sunday at 7.15 a.m. Please tap into this new blessing.
4. 2015 Clergywives Retreat: Please note that our Mama Yard led the other clergywives to Faith Plaza from Thursday, 19th March for their annual Clergywives Retreat. They would return today, 22nd March, 2015 Please pray for them.
5. PARISH RETREAT IN LENT: Please note that the Parish Retreat comes up on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at the Main Church from 9.00 a.m.

6 INDUCTION SERVICE FOR 2015/2016 PCC

   MEMBERS:  The Induction Service/Ceremony for those elected and appointed at the last Vestry meeting comes up today. We congratulate those elected and appointed to serve in His vineyard.

7. INAUGURAL PARISH COUNCIL MEETING: The Inaugural PCC meeting will come up on Thursday, 26th March, 2015 at 5 p.m. in the Church Hall. Please pray for a fruitful Council Year.

8. WEDNESDAY IN LENT SERVICE:- Date: Wednesday,  

       25th March,2015 at 6.00 p.m. Kindly come with a friend or

colleague and attend punctually.

9. PRAYERS FOR NIGERIA: Instead of the Vigil, there will

be a Prayer Meeting for the nation from 6.00 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. Please come to uplift Nigeria before the Lord. Come and you will be richly blessed.

10. 10. CHURCH NEEDS:

To modernize the Church Sound Systems for the Church, Choir, the Praise Band, Chapel and Church Hall from analogue to digital, enhance the Main Church Pipe Organ with a 32-foot Bombarde pipe and rehabilitate the Chapel Pipe Organ, the church needs to balance what was left from the Pipe Organ Fund with GB £100,000.00 and US $150,000.00. Transfers could be made to the Church’s UK account in either GB pounds or US dollars. The Lord would bless you as you assist with these projects.

11. 11. LEKKI PHASE II CHURCH:- As part of saying “Thank You” to God for its first centenary, the Church is about to build a church in Lekki Phase II. Has God blessed you and you want to appreciate Him? Then please write your cheques in favour of Our Saviour’s Church, TBS and endorse it   “Centenary Church”. Thank you and God bless you.
12. HOSPITAL VISITING MINISTRY/CHURCH CLINIC ANNUAL EASTER CAKE SALES:- The annual delicious Easter Cakes being provided by members of the Hospital Visiting Ministry/Church Clinic to raise funds for the purchase of drugs and other equipment will come up on Sunday, 5th April, 2015. Please note and patronise or book for some in advance through any member of the ministry.
13. MISSION SEED ENVELOPES: You are invited to help empower His Grace, our Diocesan Bishop to help needy parishes and the mission fields in the diocese, within and outside the country by contributing at least One thousand Naira monthly towards the Mission Seed Project. Mission Seed is collected every first Sunday of the month, but you could also pay during the week. Please collect and use a set of envelopes to help you pay regularly and God will bless you abundantly.
14. TITHE ENVELOPES: God has asked you to obey Him by bringing in the FULL tithes into His storehouse and put Him to test if He will not rain blessings on you. To help you do this, the church has provided envelopes for regular tithing.   Please collect yours from the Guild of Stewards. The Lord will bless you with His abundance as you obey Him. Tithes are collected every third Sunday of the month. Please note that you can continue to pay your tithe at any other time of the week or make a direct transfer to the Church’s Bank account.
15. EDUCATION COMMITTEE:- Applications are invited from members/members’ children for consideration for scholarship for tertiary Education at any Public Institution in Nigeria. Applicants must have admission and the necessary qualifications.   For enquiries call: 08033257929.
16. SALES OF CHURCH PLOTS OF LAND AT ABIJO, IBEJU-LEKKI LGA:- The church is offering its plots of land at Abijo, in Ibeju-Lekki LGA to interested members. Those interested should please liaise with the Church Admin. Manager who would link them up with the firm that is handling the sales.
17. FEAST OF ANNUNCIATION OF BLESSED VIRGIN MARY: Date: Wednesday, 25th March, 2015. Venue: Our Saviour’s Church, TBS, Lagos. Time: 1.00 p.m .
18. WOMEN’S GUILD MEETING/TALK: Date: Wednesday, 25th March, 2015 – Contemporary Issue on: ‘Preserved to serve’ by Mrs. Josephine Agbi. Time: 4.00 p.m.   You are all welcome.
19. LADIES & GIRLS’ GUILD INCLUDING BOYS’ PROGRAMME: Date: Today after the service. Health Talk on ‘Nail infection’ by Dr (Mrs.) Emi Briggs.
20. MOTHERS’ UNION & WOMEN’S GUILD ANNUAL DUES:– Members of the Mothers’ Union & Women’s Guild are hereby reminded of the payment of their annual dues to any of the clergy wives today or within the week.
21. WIDOWS’ WELFARE FUND: Kindly donate towards the Fund established to assist the widows of this church and God would visit you and all yours.
22. CLASSES FOR MOTHERS’ UNION ENROLMENT:- The class for 2015 Mothers’ Union Enrolment hold today, immediately after the service at the Chapel Extension. Members should please, be punctual.
23. DONATIONS TO CHURCH MADE EASY: To facilitate paying our Tithes, fferings and other donations, the following have been put in place:

(a) A PAYMENT POINT has been created near the Archbishop Adetiloye Conference Room. A cashier is available at the point on Sundays immediately after each service and on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Should you get there after the cashier had left, you should please call 08075792685 and you would be attended to.

25. The Literature and Publications Committee: welcomes fresh articles, poetry, jokes, cartoons, riddles and other entries for the June 2015 edition of the magazine. Entries should be sent to the following email addresses: goodtidings@osc-tbs.org. Willing authors may send high quality photos of themselves to appear by their articles. Advertisements are also welcome. “All magazine entries are to be submitted by March 31st, 2015.” May God bless you for your continued support. Amen.
26. COMPULSORY PRE-MARRIAGE COUNSELLING: Please note that the pre-marriage counselling has started. The purpose of Counselling is to prepare our children on how to establish and maintain harmony in their marriages. The programme is intensive and will take minimum of 12 weeks. Every potential couple should take note and avail themselves of this golden opportunity. Parents should also note that this should be the first step in preparation for their children’s wedding. We expect all the “about to be married” members to take note! Clearance will not be given for wedding until the course is completed.
