- WELCOME- We heartily welcome you all who are worshipping God along with us today for the first time and pray that His love would be extended to you and members of your families. Kindly complete the form given to you and hand it over to the members of the church’s WELCOME TEAM who will meet with you at the CHOIR OFFICE point immediately after the service. Kindly join them through the Exit by the Lectern side of the church.
- DAILY HOLY COMMUNION SERVICE: – Please join us on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 8 a.m. each day in the main Church. There will be no services on Thursday and Friday. God bless you.
- SUNDAY PRE-SERVICE BIBLE STUDIES:– The pre-service Bible Study holds today and every Sunday. Please tap into this new blessing.
- APPRECIATION FROM HIS GRACE:– During the just concluded Synod, His Grace, The Most Revd Dr. E.A. Ademowo, OON, appreciated our church for hosting the synod. He prayed that God would continue to bless the leadership and the congregation of this church. He was particularly grateful to the Vicar and his wife, the Curates and their wives, the PCC, the Adedayos of TFC, Dr & Mrs. Gbenga Koleowo for decorating the church and the hall free-o f-charge, the Wardens, the staff, the medical team and our one-in-town Church Clinic, the Praise Band – the best in the diocese, the Choirmaster and the Choir, the Guild of Stewards, the women from Mothers’ Union & Women’s Guild, the security team, the sextons, the drivers etc. As your Vicar, I also say from the depth of my heart that Mamayard and I are grateful for your support. The Lord will bless you all.

- THE VICAR’S STALL: At the Post-Synod Clergy Conference, His Grace directed that with the correction of the position of the Pulpit to the Gospel side of the church, the Vicar’s stall should also be adjusted to the same side of this church. This directive has now been given effect.
- YEAR 2015 ROGATION/HARVEST SEASON LAUNCH:– Today, we mark our Year 2015 Rogation/Harvest Season Launch and Planting. We welcome our Chief Planters, Chief (Dr) Joseph & Chief (Mrs) Abigail Sanusi, CON, together with their supporters, members of the congregation and pray that the Lord will continue to bless us all. Pledge Forms and Donation Envelopes, for your seeds, are in the special programme printed for today’s service. As we all sow to the Lord, may His grace continue to be upon us.
- LEKKI PHASE II CHURCH:- As part of saying “Thank You” to God for its first centenary, the Church is about to build a church in Lekki Phase II. Has God blessed you and you want to appreciate Him? Then please write your cheques in favour of Our Saviour’s Church, TBS and endorse it “Centenary Church”. Thank you and God bless you.
- MISSION SEED ENVELOPES: You are invited to help empower His Grace, our Diocesan Bishop to help needy parishes and the mission fields in the diocese, within and outside the country by contributing at least One thousand Naira monthly towards the Mission Seed Project. Mission Seed is collected on every first Sunday of the month, but you could also pay during the week. Please collect and use a set of envelopes to help you pay regularly and God will bless you abundantly.
- TITHE ENVELOPES: God has asked you to obey Him by bringing in the FULL tithes into His storehouse and put Him to test if He will not rain blessings on you. To help you do this, the church has provided envelopes for regular tithing. Please collect yours from the Guild of Stewards. The Lord will bless you with His abundance as you obey Him. Tithes will be collected next Sunday and on every third Sunday of the month. Please note that you can continue to pay your tithe at any other time of the week or make a direct transfer to the Church’s Bank account.
- EDUCATION COMMITTEE:- Applications are invited from members/members’ children for consideration for scholarship for tertiary Education at any Public Institution in Nigeria. Applicants must have admission and the necessary qualifications. For enquiries call: 08033257929.
- ELDERS’ FELLOWSHIP MEETING:- The monthly meeting of the Elders’ Fellowship will hold on Wednesday, 13th May, 2015 at 10.00 a.m. prompt in the Chapel Extension. All elders of 65 years and above are cordially invited.
- BUSINESS FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMME: Business Fellowship cordially invites you to its 2015 Entrepreneurship Development Workshop of three lectures. Dates: Mon 11th, 18th and 25th May 2015, Time:6-8pm, Venue:-Chapel,Theme:- BASIC BOOKKEEPING FOR SMES. Come and acquire basic accounting skills to grow your business.
- INVESTMENT COMMITTEE MEETING:- Members of the Investment Committee would meet on Wednesday, 13th May, 2015 at 12noon at the usual venue. All members should endeavour to attend promptly.
- MEN’S CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP MEETING:- An important meeting of members of the Men’s Christian Fellowship comes up on Saturday, 16th May, 2015 in the Church Hall at 9 a.m. All members should please attend promptly.
- The Literature and Publications Committee: welcomes fresh articles, poetry, jokes, cartoons, riddles and other entries for the June 2015 edition of the magazine. Entries should be sent to the following email addresses: goodtidings@osc-tbs.org. Willing authors may send high quality photos of themselves to appear by their articles. - IKOYI ARCHDEACONRY WOMEN’S QUARTERLY MEETING:- Date: Today, Sunday, 10th May, 2015 at Church of Nativity, Parkview Estate, Ikoyi. The church bus would depart from the premises at 11.00 a.m.
- CHARITY DAY: The first Charity Day for this year will take place on Saturday, 23rd May, 2015. Donations of Rice, Beans, Noodles, Yams, Beverages, Household utensils, Clothings in good condition and cash would be appreciated. Please put a smile on the faces of the needy and God will richly bless you for it. Kindly drop the items with either Mama yard or Mr. Michael Ipadeola.
- WOMEN’S GUILD MEETING/TALK: There will be no Women’s Guild meeting due to a Diocesan programme.
- MOTHERS’ UNION & WOMEN’S GUILD ANNUAL DUES:– Members of the Mothers’ Union & Women’s Guild are hereby reminded of the payment of their annual dues to any of the clergy wives today or within the week.
- WIDOWS’ WELFARE FUND: Kindly donate towards the Fund established to assist the widows of this church and God would visit you and all yours.
