- We are excited and very happy to have all our parishioners at this service. We pray that God will pour His blessings and Spirit upon you immeasurably now and always. He will make a way for each of you even where there seems to be no way. You will continue to be kept under the shadow of His wings in Jesus name.
- We welcome all our eminent guests with overwhelming joy and profound gratitude. We appeal to them to kindly wait to see the ‘WELCOME TEAM” after the service. They should please take the exit on the Lectern side and also fill the “First Timers’ Form” and return it to the ‘WELCOME TEAM’. - We congratulate all BIRTHDAY CELEBRANTS of this week and felicitate with them. God Almighty will equip and anoint them to live long in sound health, renewed strength and peace, and they will all fulfil their divine mandate in Jesus name. Happy Birthday. Hurray and cheers!
- WELCOMING OUR NEW PRIESTS: – Please join me in welcoming The Revd Canon & Mrs. Taiwo Awosika (NS) from Holy Trinity Church, Ebute-Ero, and The Revd & Mrs. Charles E. Ezeh (full time) from Bishop Tugwell Memorial Church and their families into our midst and pray that God would bless their ministry in this church. They assumed duty on Wednesday, 18th May, 2016. We pray that God will be with them and crown all their efforts with brilliant success.
- OUR WEEKLY ACTIVITIES: We are continuing with all these with renewed enthusiasm and passion after the celebration of Easter. We appeal to all our parishioners and other worshippers to show more interest and attend punctually. They are for our spiritual edification and total well-being. They are as follows:
- Daily Holy Communion @ 7.15 a.m. from Mondays to Fridays
- Hour of Divine Intervention on Wednesdays @ 6.00 p.m to 7.30 p.m.
- Bible Study on Fridays @ 3.00 p.m. – 4.30 p.m. & 6.00 p.m. – 7.30 p.m.
- Overcomer’s Hour – First Day of the month @ 6.30 a.m. to 7.00 a.m.
- Glorious Night – Last Fridays of the month @ 11.00 p.m. to 5.00 a.m.
- Workers’ Retreat – as the Vicar deems appropriate.
- FAMILY HARVEST: God expects each family to appear before Him at least once a year for thanksgiving and re-dedication. As families, it is important to give thanks in appreciation of His faithfulness and goodness to us and to also rededicate and recommit all members of our families to Him for safe-keeping, provision, defence, sustenance, preservation, good health, victory and joy. Please note that all members of the Church are expected to celebrate their annual Family Harvests. Kindly complete the enclosed form and return to members of the Guild of Stewards or the Admin’s Office, so as to prepare the roster without much delay.
- THE NEEDS OF OUR PARISH: We thank all our members for your continual supports, generosity and personal sacrifice. Your labour of love will not be in vain. We appeal to our members to pray concerning the following items which are needed by the church and as led by the Holy Spirit to assist in donating them:
- Altar Cross (should be the latest and with steps)
- Imported sets of chasubles for the use of the Priests, for the celebration of Holy Communion.
- Processional Cross for the Altar Servers (imported).
- Toyota buses (High roof & Medium room)
- Copies of Hymn Books

WOMEN’S & GIRLS’ ORGANIZATIONS
- APPRECIATION – RE: PARISH CHARITY DAY: – We appreciate the efforts of all our Clergywives and our women that participated actively during the Charity Day programme yesterday. We specially thank you all for putting so much smiles on many faces and homes with your generous donations of various items. You may not fully appreciate what great things you have done. The Lord values your love and sacrifice and will bless you abundantly.
- VISIT BY OUR WOMEN: – The women would visit our members that are ill or bereaved today immediately after the first service. The church bus would be available in the Church premises.
- REGISTRATION FOR 2016 MOTHERS’ UNION ENROLMENT:– Members willing to enrol into Mothers’ Union for the year 2016 should please put down their names and telephone nos. with the Vicar’s wife (Mrs. F. Oyediran) or with the Admin. Manager today or within the week.
- IKOYI ARCHDEACONRY WOMEN BIBLE QUIZ COMPETITION:- Date: Saturday, 28th May, 2016 at Our Saviour’s Church, TBS, Lagos. Time: 10.00 a.m.
- MOTHERS’ UNION & WOMEN’S GUILD ANNUAL DUES:- Members of the Mothers’ Union & Women’s Guild are hereby reminded of the payment `of their annual dues to any of the clergy wives today or within the week.
- SACRIFICE CARDS: We appeal to all the women to please key into this. Some are not paying, we appeal to them to start paying. The reward is unquantifiable as the women organize prayer for those who pay every week.
We also plead with men to also join in the payment because it is for the entire church. It is only being championed and coordinated by the women.
- WOMEN’S GUILD MEETING/TALK: Date: Wednesday, 25th May, 2016 Contemporary Issue on “Making a difference in the world of decadence” by Dr (Mrs) Sola Dublin-Green Time: 4.00p.m. May you be richly blessed as you attend.
- LADIES & GIRLS’ GUILD INCLUDING BOYS’ PROGRAMME: Date: Today, after the service. Bible Study on “‘Prayers (Luke 8: 1)” by Miss Jennifer Jubril.
- WIDOWS’ WELFARE FUND: Kindly donate towards the Fund established to assist the widows of this church and God would visit you and all yours.

- 2016 WOMEN’S HARVEST: Our Women’s Harvest for this year comes up on Sunday, 12th June, 2016 and it would be a Joint Service at 9.00 a.m. All our women should be preparing for the day. Please pray for the success of the programme.
- REQUEST FOR ADVERTISEMENT IN THE WOMEN’S HARVEST SERVICE PROGRAMME: The Harvest Committee solicits for advertisements in the Service Programme of our forthcoming Women’s Harvest. The advert rates are as follows: Outside Back Cover – N350,000.00; Inside Back Cover – N250,000.00; Inside Front Cover – N250,000.00; Inside Full Page – N100,000.00; Inside Half Page – N50,000.00 and Inside Quarter Page – N30,000 (All in full colour). - THE PARISH CHURCH COUNCIL MEETING:– The PCC members will meet on Tuesday, 24th May, 2016 at 5 p.m. instead of the normal last Thursday of the month due to the Synod Opening Service of the Diocese of Lagos Mainland. Venue: Church Hall. All members are to please note and collect their papers from the Front Office today or within the week.
- GLORIOUS NIGHT (VIGIL) FOR THE MONTH OF MAY:– Our Glorious Night (Vigil) for this month would hold on Friday, 27th May, 2016. Time: 10.30 p.m. – 5.00 a.m. Come and you will be richly blessed.
