GREETINGS AND FELICITATION

    1. We are excited and very happy to have all our parishioners at this service.  We pray that God will pour His blessings and Spirit upon you immeasurably now and always.  He will make a way for each of you even where there seems to be no way.  You will continue to be kept under the shadow of His wings in Jesus name.
    2. We welcome all our eminent guests with overwhelming joy and profound gratitude. We appeal to them to kindly wait to see the ‘WELCOME TEAM” after the service.  They should please take the exit on the Lectern side and also fill the “First Timers’ Form” and return it to the ‘WELCOME TEAM’.  Please study our weekly Bulletin and attend our programmes and activities as enshrined therein.  God bless you richly.
    3. We congratulate all BIRTHDAY CELEBRANTS of this week and felicitate with them.  God Almighty will equip and anoint them to live long in sound health, renewed strength and peace, and they will all fulfil their divine mandate in Jesus name.  Happy Birthday.  Hurray and cheers!
  2. OUR WEEKLY ACTIVITIES: We are continuing with all these with renewed enthusiasm and passion after the celebration of Easter.  We appeal to all our parishioners and other worshippers to show more interest and attend punctually.  They are for our spiritual edification and total well-being.  They are as follows:
    1. Daily Holy Communion @ 7.15 a.m. from Mondays to Fridays
    2. Hour of Divine Intervention on Wednesdays @ 6.00 p.m to 7.30 p.m.
    3. Bible Study on Fridays @ 3.00 p.m. – 4.30 p.m. & 6.00 p.m. – 7.30 p.m.
    4. Overcomer’s Hour –  First Day of the month @ 6.30 a.m. to 7.00 a.m.
    5. Glorious Night –  Last Fridays of the month @ 11.00 p.m. to 5.00 a.m.
    6. Workers’ Retreat –  as the Vicar deems appropriate.
  1. FAMILY HARVEST: God expects each family to appear before Him at least once a year for thanksgiving and re-dedication.  As families, it is important to give thanks in appreciation of His faithfulness and goodness to us and to also rededicate and recommit all members of our families to Him for safe-keeping, provision, defence, sustenance, preservation, good health, victory and joy.  Please note that all members of the Church are expected to celebrate their annual Family Harvests.  Kindly complete the enclosed form and return to members of the Guild of Stewards or the Admin’s Office, so as to prepare the roster without much delay.
  2. THE NEEDS OF OUR PARISH: We thank all our members for your continual supports, generousity and personal sacrifice.  Your labour of love will not be in vain.  We appeal to our members to pray concerning the following items which are needed by the church and as led by the Holy Spirit to assist  in donating them:
    1. Altar Cross (should be the latest and with steps)
    2. Imported sets of chassubles for the use of the Priests, for the celebration of Holy Communion.
    3. Processional Cross for the Altar Servers (imported)
    4. Toyota buses (High roof & Medium room)
    5. Copies of Hymn Books

INFORMATION FROM THE DIOCESE

  1. DIOCESAN LAGOS CITY-WIDE CRUSADE: Date:  7th to 10th June, 2016.  Theme:  “In Christ Alone” (Acts 4: 12; I Cor.).  Venue:  The Cricket Pitch, TBS, Lagos.  Tuesday, 7th to Thursday, 9th June, 2016 –  5.00 p.m. daily;  Friday, 10th June, 2016 –  11.00 p.m.  The host is our Diocesan, The Most Revd Dr. Ephraim A. Ademowo, Ph.D, FNAL, OON, and the speakers are:

The Rt. Rev. Humphrey B. Olumakaiye (The Bishop of Osun North East Diocese) and The Rt. Rev. Timothy O. Adebayo (The Bishop of Igbomina West Diocese).  Come and you will be richly blessed.          

 

WOMEN’S & GIRLS’ ORGANIZATIONS

  1. REGISTRATION FOR 2016 MOTHERS’ UNION ENROLMENT:– Members willing to enrol into Mothers’ Union for the year 2016 should please put down their names and telephone nos. with the Vicar’s wife (Mrs. F. Oyediran) or with the Admin. Manager today or within the week.
  2. MOTHERS’ UNION & WOMEN’S GUILD ANNUAL DUES:- Members of the Mothers’ Union & Women’s Guild are hereby reminded of the payment of their annual dues to any of the clergy wives today or within the week.
  3. SACRIFICE CARDS: We appreciate most sincerely all our women for their generousity ans sacrifice in this regard.  The Lord will reward them bountifully and solve all their problems in Jesus name.  We still appeal that they should please, not relent and God will do incredible things in their lives in Jesus’ name.
  4. IKOYI ARCHDEACONRY MONTHLY PRAYER MEETING will hold on Friday, 3rd June, 2016 at Our Saviour’s Church, TBS at 5.00 p.m. The topic: ‘Perfect in Christ’  –  Eph. 1: 3-4.
  5. IKOYI ARCHDEACONRY CLERGYWIVES FELLOWSHIP:- Date:  June 5, 2016 at Our Saviour’s Church, TBS, Lagos. Time:  3.00 p.m.  Topic:  “Acknowledging God”  (2 Sam. 5: 23).  Speaker:  Mrs. S. Abara.
  6. WOMEN’S GUILD MEETING/TALK: Date: Wednesday, June 1, 2016 Prayer meeting/Testimony on “What do you think” (Phil. 4: 8) by  Mrs.  O. Ajayi.  Time: 4.00p.m.  May you be richly blessed as you attend.
  7. LADIES & GIRLS’ GUILD INCLUDING BOYS’ PROGRAMME: Date: Today, after the service. Health Talk on “‘Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation”  by  Dr. B. Osinowo.
  8. WIDOWS’ WELFARE FUND: Kindly donate towards the Fund established to assist the widows of this church and God would visit you and all yours.

 

OTHER INFORMATION FROM OUR PARISH

  1. 2016 WOMEN’S HARVEST: Our Women’s Harvest for this year comes up on Sunday, 12th June, 2016 and it would be a Joint Service at 9.00 a.m.  All our women should be preparing for the day.  Please pray for the success of the programme.
  2. INVESTMENT COMMITTEE MEETING:- Members of the Investment Committee would meet on Wednesday, 1st June, 2016 at 12noon at the usual venue.  All members are requested to attend promptly.
  3. REQUEST FOR ADVERTISEMENT IN THE WOMEN’S HARVEST SERVICE PROGRAMME: The Harvest Committee solicits for advertisements in the Service Programme of our forthcoming Women’s Harvest. The advert rates are as follows:  Outside Back Cover –  N350,000.00;  Inside Back Cover –  N250,000.00;  Inside Front Cover –  N250,000.00; Inside Full Page –  N100,000.00;  Inside Half Page –  N50,000.00 and Inside Quarter Page –  N30,000 (All in full colour).  Kindly liaise with either  the  Admin.Manager on 0802-307-7347 or any of the Harvest Committee members, for details.   
  4. The Business Fellowship cordially invites you to it’s 2016 Entrepreneurship Development Program for 4 Mondays in May, Venue-Chapel, Time: 6-8pm: Sponsor/Facilitator :Toki Mabogunje & Co. Admission is free. Aim is to equip participants with knowledge and skills in Human Resources that are vital to the success of their businesses.
