  1. WELCOME- We heartily welcome you all who are worshipping God along with us today for the first time and pray that His love would be  extended to you and members of your families. Kindly complete the form given to you and hand it over to the members of the church’s WELCOME TEAM who will meet with you at the CHOIR OFFICE point immediately after the service. Kindly join them through the Exit by  the Lectern side of the church
  2. DAILY HOLY COMMUNION SERVICE: Join us at the 7.15 a.m. service in the Chapel every day this week.
  3. 3. GLEANERS’ HARVEST: Today is our Gleaners’ Harvest.  We welcome all our past Harvest Chairmen and other participants at this occasion.
  4.  IMPORTANT DATES: Please book these important dates in your diary:
    1. Monday, 2nd November at 12 noon – Dedication of the Tarkwa Bay Church by His Grace.  We thank the members of this church who contributed more than N50 million towards this project.  Bus will leave Church for the Jetty at 10 a.m.
    2. Tuesday, 3rd November at 12 noon – Dedication of Holy Trinity Church, Erasco-Epe, a link church of our women which has been rebuilt with more than N30 million, the Children Rehabilitation Ministry’s Hostel at Awoyaya, and the laying of the Foundation Stone of the Lekki Phase II Church.  Bus leaves at 9.30 a.m.
    3. Friday, 6th November at 11 a.m. – Public Presentation of ‘From Colonial to Cosmopolitan:  The story of Our Saviour’s Church, TBS, Lagos (1911-2011).  Venue:  Church Hall
  1. MISSION SEED ENVELOPES: You are invited to help empower His Grace, our Diocesan Bishop to help needy parishes and the mission fields in the diocese, within and outside the country by contributing at least One thousand Naira monthly towards the Mission Seed Project.  Mission Seed will be collected today, and on every first Sunday of the month, but you could also pay during the week.  Please collect and use a set of envelopes to help you pay regularly and God will bless you abundantly.
  2. TITHE ENVELOPES: God has asked you to obey Him by bringing in the FULL tithes into His storehouse and put Him to test if He will not rain blessings on you. To help you do this, the church has provided envelopes for regular tithing. Please collect yours from the Guild of Stewards.  The Lord will bless you with His  abundance as you obey Him.  Tithes are collected  every Third Sunday of the month.  Please drop the tithe as you go for communion.  Please note that you can continue to pay your tithe at any other time of the week or make a direct transfer to the Church’s Bank account.
  3. BUSINESS & PROFESSIONAL WOMEN’S BREAKFAST FELLOWSHIP: The Diocesan Business & Professional Women’s Breakfast Fellowship comes up on Saturday, 7rd November, 2015 at the Church Hall.  Time:  8.00 a.m.  You are all invited and as you come, the Lord will richly bless you.

  7. MOTHERS’ UNION & WOMEN’S GUILD ANNUAL DUES:Members of the Mothers’ Union & Women’s Guild are hereby reminded of the payment of their annual dues to any of the clergy wives today or within the week.
  8. BUSINESS FELLOWSHIP MEETING: Programme – Fasting, Prayers and Testimony:  Date:  Monday, 2nd November, 2015. Time:  6-8 p.m.  Venue:  Chapel. Topic:  ‘Divine increase’. Intercessory prayers led by Mr. Daniel Omodiagbe.   Please come and you will be richly blessed.
  9. FOOD BANK: The Youth Ministry has started a Food Bank in the church. This service seeks to provide raw food stuffs and beverages for members who have nothing to eat. The distribution of food items to concerned parties is only done on first Sundays of any month. Kindly note that this is a covenant arrangement, only those in need should visit the place. Please, also feel free to join us to bring smile to faces that are stranded by providing for them through this medium.   3. COMPULSORY PRE-MARRIAGE COUNSELLING: Please note that the pre-marriage counselling  has started.  The purpose of Counselling is to prepare our children on how to establish and maintain harmony in their marriages.  The programme is intensive and will take minimum of 12 weeks. 

 Every potential couple should take note and avail themselves of this golden opportunity.  Parents should also note that this should be the first step in preparation for their children’s wedding. We expect all the “about to be married”  members to take note!  Clearance will not be given for wedding until the course is completed.

INVITATION TO FAMILY FUN DAY 2015:- The  Ladies Helpers’ Union of the Cathedral Church of Christ, Marina cordially invites members to their annual Family Fun Day that encompasses – Health awareness and Checks, Children games/entertainment, Display and sale of African cuisine, computer games etc. on Saturday 7th November, 2015 at Methodist Boy’s High School, Sinari Daranijo Street, Victoria Island, Lagos. 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.  The proceeds from the activities would be use to support various charities and homes for the handicapped.  (See the Notice Board for details)
