  1. WELCOME- We heartily welcome you all who are worshipping God along with us today for the first time and pray that His love would be  extended to you and members of your families. Kindly complete the form given to you and hand it over to the members of the church’s WELCOME TEAM who will meet with you at the CHOIR OFFICE point immediately after the service. Kindly join them through the Exit by the Lectern side of the church
  2. DAILY HOLY COMMUNION SERVICE: –  Join us at the 7.15 a.m. service in the Chapel every day of this week.
  3. APPRECIATION: – The PCC appreciates members of Our Saviour’s Church and our friends for your support, gifts, above all, your prayers during the events marking the 70th Birthday Anniversary of Ven. S. Igein Isemede and retirement of our former Vicar and Mama Yard, Ven. Igein & Mrs. Oluwatoyin Isemede.  The Lord Almighty will reward you beyond measures.
  4. OUR NEW VICAR AND ARCHDEACON: – A new Vicar and Archdeacon of Ikoyi has been appointed. He is The Ven. Julius Oyetunde Oyediran.  He will worship with us on Sunday, 29th November, 2015. Let us pray for him and his wife, Mrs. Folake Oyediran that their ministry will be a huge success and blessing to us.
  5. DIOCESAN PRAISE NIGHT: – The Diocesan Praise Night comes up on Friday, 11th December, 2015 at 10.00 p.m. Venue: Cricket Pitch, TBS, Lagos.  Meanwhile, the Praise Night Sensitization Committee of the Directorate of Missions, Evangelism & Discipleship will be visiting our Parish today to address the congregation.
  6. 2016 SCRIPTURE UNION’S DAILY GUIDE AND OTHER DEVOTIONALS/OSC HISTORY BOOK: – Please visit our Bookstand and ask from Mrs. Z. Bello for:

    • OSC History Book (Hard & Soft covers and Abridged copies)
  7. THE PARISH CHURCH COUNCIL MEETING:The PCC members will meet on Thursday, 26th November, 2015 at 5 p.m.   Venue: Church Hall.   All members are to please collect their papers from the Front Office today or within the week.
  1. GLORIOUS NIGHT (VIGIL) FOR THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER: – The Glorious Night (Vigil) for this month would hold on Friday, 27th November, 2015 and to be co-ordinated by our Youths. Theme: “Praise 360” of which six hours will be dedicated for Praise & Worship of the Lord God Almighty.  Time:  10.30 p.m. – 5.00 a.m.  Come and you will be richly blessed.
  2. FESTIVAL OF FAITH – DIOCESE OF LAGOS: Please note the events scheduled for this year’s Festival of Faith as follows:- Friday, 4th December, 2015 – Fasting & Prayer – Pre-Festival Service at Parish level at 5.00 p.m.;   Saturday, 5th December, 2015 Festival  Proper at Faith Plaza, CMS Road, Bariga, Lagos.  Time:  8.00 a.m.   Theme:  “The all sufficient God’ (Deuteronomy 11: 13-15).  Please note that the bus will leave the church at 7 a.m.
  3. TITHE ENVELOPES: God has asked you to obey Him by bringing in the FULL tithes into His storehouse and put Him to test if He will not rain blessings on you. To help you do this, the church has provided envelopes for regular tithing. Please collect yours from the Guild of Stewards.  The Lord will bless you with His ABUNDANCE as you obey Him.  Tithes are collected on every Third Sunday of the month.  Please drop the tithe as you go for communion.  Please note that you can continue to pay your tithe at any other time of the week or make a direct transfer to the Church’s Bank account.
  4. MISSION SEED ENVELOPES: You are invited to help empower His  Grace, our Diocesan Bishop to help needy parishes and the mission fields in the diocese, within and outside the country by contributing at least One thousand Naira monthly towards the Mission Seed Project.   Mission Seed  is collected every first Sunday of the month, but you could also pay during the week.  Please collect and use a set of envelopes to help you pay regularly and God will bless you abundantly.
  5. COMMUNITY HYMNS SINGING:- Our monthly Community Hymns Singing to be sponsored by the November Babes will hold next Sunday, 29th November, 2015 at 5.00 p.m.   Members celebrating their birthdays and events in the month of November and willing to sponsor any of the hymns should please liaise with Revd Canon Akpoghene Okoro or Mr. Michael Ipadeola, on or before Wednesday, 25th November, 2015.
  6. APPEAL TO SAVE LIFE: – A young man with kidney problem urgently needs our assistance to continue his dialysis.   7. BUSINESS FELLOWSHIP LEADERSHIP SUMMIT: – Date: Sunday, 6th December, 2015.  Time:  12noon to 5 p.m.  All the past Chairmen, Vice-Chairmen and present Executives are cordially invited.  Venue:  Barr & Mrs. Segun Ajayi’s residence.  Please keep the date free.
  8. WOMEN’S GUILD MEETING/TALK: Date: Wednesday, 25th November, 2015 – Contemporary Issue on ‘A contented goal’ by Mrs. Marigold Olunaike. Time: 4.00p.m. May you be richly blessed as you attend.
  9. MOTHERS’ UNION & WOMEN’S GUILD ANNUAL DUES:Members of the Mothers’ Union & Women’s Guild are hereby reminded of the payment of their annual dues to any of the clergy wives today or within the week.
  1. OBOSI-LAGOS FELLOWSHIP 2015 HARVEST AND FAMILY THANKSGIVING:- All sons and daughters of Obosi including well-wishers are invited to the “2015 Harvest and Family Thanksgiving’ on Sunday, 22nd November,  2015 at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, No. 1, Benson Akinyele Street, Oke-Afa, Isolo by 2.00 p.m.  Theme:  “Harvest of Grace”. Reception follows immediately after the Service at the same venue.  For enquiries, call Dalu on 08033245557.
  2. FOOD BANK: The Youth Ministry has started a Food Bank in the church. This service seeks to provide raw food stuffs and beverages for members who have nothing to eat. The distribution of food items to concerned parties is only done on first Sundays of any month. Kindly note that this is a covenant arrangement, only those in need should visit the place. Please, also feel free to join us to bring smile to faces that are stranded by providing for them through this medium.   3. DONATIONS TO CHURCH MADE EASY:  To facilitate paying our Tithes, offerings and other donations, the following have been put in place:
    1. A PAYMENT POINT has been created near the Archbishop Adetiloye Conference Room.  A cashier is available at the point on Sundays immediately after each service and on Wednesdays and Saturdays.  Should you get there after the cashier had left, you should please call 08075792685 and you would be attended to.
    2. DIRECT PAYMENT can be made by NEFT, etc into Zenith Bank Acct.     No: 1012760579 with sort code No: 057150107. Please specify the purpose such as Tithes, Harvest pledges, Mission Seed, Clergy Pension, etc. and also inform the Church’s accountant on 08075792685.

  1. COMPULSORY PRE-MARRIAGE COUNSELLING: Please note that the pre-marriage counselling has started.  The purpose of Counselling is to prepare our children on how to establish and maintain harmony in their marriages.  The Programme is intensive and will take minimum of 12 weeks. Every potential couple should take note and avail themselves of this golden opportunity.  Parents should also note that this should be the first step in preparation for their children’s wedding. We expect all the “about to be married” members to take note!  Clearance will not be given for wedding until the course is completed.
  2. BANNS OF MARRIAGE: We announce the banns of marriage between
    • OlaOluwa Fadiran & Olatokunbo O. Kassim, for the Third time. Any impediment should please, be forwarded to the Vicar.
  1. We share in the pains of the following members:
    • Sir Iyke & Lady Phil. Okoye on the Call to Glory of their mother and mother-in-law respectively – Mama Roseline Okoye. Aged:  89 Years.  Burial arrangement to be announced later.
    • The family of Chief Jas Emenike of Okwelle in Imo State on the call to glory of their matriarch, Dame Dora Chimnkekanma Emenike (nee Akwiwu). Burial on the 31st of December, 2015.
    • Sir Benneth & Lady Nkem Julie Onwubalili on the call to glory of their brother-in-law and younger brother respectively, Chukwurah Sunny Okeke (he was a staff of the Department of Petroleum Resources, Port Harcourt). Aged:  55 Years.  Burial on Friday, 27th November, 2015 at his home town, Ukpo, Dunukofa LGA, Anambra State.
  1. Funeral arrangement for Mrs Victoria Abumchukwu Nwagu (mother-in-law and mother of Sir Okey & Lady Uju Ezibe) – on Friday, 27th November, 2015  –  Funeral Service at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Ifite-Nibo.  Time:  10a.m.
