- EPISCOPAL VISIT OF HIS GRACE: Today, we welcome His Grace, The Most Rev. Dr. E.A. Ademowo, OON FNAL, Ph.D., Bishop of Lagos & Dean Emeritus, Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) along with the President of the Women’s & Girls’ Organisations of the diocese, Mrs. I. Oluranti Ademowo, as they pay an official (Episcopal) visit to our parish. We pray that the Lord will continue to shower His blessings on them and their household.
- WELCOME- We heartily welcome you all who are worshipping God along with us today for the first time and pray that His love would be extended to you and members of your families. Kindly complete the form given to you and hand it over to the members of the church’s WELCOME TEAM who will meet with you at the CHOIR OFFICE point immediately after the service. - DAILY HOLY COMMUNION SERVICE: – Join us at the 7.15 a.m. service in the Chapel every day this week.
- WELCOME TO GOD’S FAMILY: We welcome all who have been confirmed today very heartily into God’s blessed family of the redeemed. As you take up the full responsibilities of the children of God, may you be faithful and fruitful children of His and may you enjoy His favour both here and in eternity. We encourage you to build yourselves up by regularly attending services, the church’s prayer meetings on Wednesdays and the Bible studies on Fridays. Also keep yourselves busy for the Lord by taking active part in at least one ministry of the church. May you continue to shine as stars for the Lord.

- APPRECIATION- RE: 2015 ADULT HARVEST: – We extend sincere gratitude to our Chairman at last Sunday’s Adult Harvest Thanksgiving & Love Feast – Sir. & Lady Eleazar Nwosa, our Parents of the Day – Engr. & Barr (Mrs.) Guy Otobo; the Cake Unveilers – Otunba (Engr) & Erelu Felix Babatunde Obada; all their supporters and invited guests, and most importantly, all members of the congregation that contributed to the success recorded. - COMMUNITY HYMNS SINGING FOR SEPTEMBER BABES: We rejoice with all the October Babes as they mark their month today during our Community Hymns Singing at 6.00 p.m. Please come with your friends and family members. May His abundant blessings be upon you as you turn-up for the service.
- CHURCH HOUSE FLATS: The six flats in the Church Block of Flats in Ikoyi are available for corporate or individual tenants. The road (Obadeyi Close) has recently been rehabilitated with proper drains and interlocking paving stones. - PARISH CHARITY DAY: The next Parish Charity Day will take place on Saturday, 24th October, 2015 at 10 a.m. Donations of Rice, Beans, Noodles, Yams, Beverages, Household utensils, Clothings in good condition and cash would be appreciated. Please put a smile on the faces of the needy and God will richly bless you for it
- BUSINESS & PROFESSIONAL WOMEN’S BREAKFAST FELLOWSHIP: The Diocesan Business & Professional Women’s Breakfast Fellowship comes up on Saturday, 7th November, 2015 at the Church Hall. Time: 8.00 a.m. You are all invited and as you come, the Lord will richly bless you.
- HARVEST COMMITTEE MEETING: – The members of Harvest Committee would meet on Wednesday, 21st October, 2015 at the Church Hall. Time: 6.00 p.m. Members should please, be punctual.
- MISSION SEED ENVELOPES: You are invited to help empower His Grace, our Diocesan Bishop to help needy parishes and the mission fields in the diocese, within and outside the country by contributing at least One thousand Naira monthly towards the Mission Seed Project. Mission Seed is collected on every first Sunday of the month, but you could also pay during the week. Please collect and use a set of envelopes to help you pay regularly and God will bless you abundantly.
- TITHE ENVELOPES: God has asked you to obey Him by bringing in the FULL tithes into His storehouse and put Him to test if He will not rain blessings on you. To help you do this, the church has provided envelopes for regular tithing. Please collect yours from the Guild of Stewards. The Lord will bless you with His abundance as you obey Him. Tithes will be collected TODAY, and on every Third Sunday of the month. Please drop the tithe as you go for communion. Please note that you can continue to pay your tithe at any other time of the week or make a direct transfer to the Church’s Bank account.

- HOSPITAL VISITING MINISTRY/CHURCH CLINIC 27THANNIVERSARY: The Anniversary Thanksgiving of the HVM/Church Clinic comes up next Sunday, 25th October, 2015 during the 8.00 a.m. Service. - MOTHERS’ UNION & WOMEN’S GUILD ANNUAL DUES:– Members of the Mothers’ Union & Women’s Guild are hereby reminded of the payment of their annual dues to any of the clergy wives today or within the week.
- CLASSES FOR MOTHERS’ UNION ENROLMENT:- The class for 2015 Mothers’ Union Enrolment holds today, immediately after the service at the
Chapel Extension. Members should please be punctual.
- FOOD BANK: The Youth Ministry has started a Food Bank in the church. This service seeks to provide raw food stuffs and beverages for members who have nothing to eat. Kindly go to the rear entrance of the Church Hall if you find this helpful. Kindly note that this is a covenant arrangement, only those in need should visit the place. Please, also feel free to join us to bring smile to faces that are stranded by providing for them through this medium. - COMPULSORY PRE-MARRIAGE COUNSELLING: Please note that the pre-marriage counselling has started. The purpose of Counselling is to prepare our children on how to establish and maintain harmony in their marriages. The programme is intensive and will take minimum of 12 weeks.
Every potential couple should take note and avail themselves of this golden opportunity. Parents should also note that this should be the first step in preparation for their children’s wedding. We expect all the “about to be married” members to take note! Clearance will not be given for wedding until the course is completed.
