    GREETINGS AND FELICITATION

1. 1. We welcome all our members and other worshippers at this service.  We appeal that we remember to pray for our dear nation for Divine Intervention at this difficult time.  Please take a copy of our weekly bulletin for reference.
   2. We also welcome all our guests who are fellowshipping for the first time.  Please fill the form given to you and wait briefly after the service to see the ‘WELCOME TEAM’ as you exit through the door on the lectern side of the church.
   3. We congratulate all Birthday celebrants of the week and pray for longevity, robust health and prosperity for all of them.

2. APPRECIATION – RE: 2016 CHILDREN & YOUNG PEOPLE’S HARVEST:– All glory, honour and adoration unto our Lord for granting us a successful Harvest last Sunday.  We specially appreciate our Chairman at last Sunday’s Children & Young People’s Harvest, Mr. & Mrs. Akin. Akinfemiwa, the Parents of the Day, Mr. & Mrs. Onu Onyenze, the Cake Unveiler, Mr. & Mrs. Noble Igwe, all our Children & Youth, Mrs. Ada Smith, the Special Launchers, their families and all other supporters both within and outside that contributed to the success recorded.  May God continue to shower His blessings on you all.
3. OUR WEEKLY ACTIVITIES: We appeal to all parishioners and other worshippers to please attend any or all of them and God will bless you all beyond your expectations:
   1. Daily Holy Communion @ 7.15 a.m. from Mondays to Fridays
   2. Hour of Divine Intervention on Wednesdays @ 6.00 p.m to 7.30 p.m.
   3. Bible Study on Fridays @ 3.00 p.m. – 4.30 p.m. & 6.00 p.m. – 7.30 p.m.
   4. Overcomer’s Hour –  First Day of the month @ 6.30 a.m. to 7.00 a.m.
   5. Glorious Night –  Last Fridays of the month @ 11.00 p.m. to 5.00 a.m.
   6. Workers’ Retreat –  as the Vicar deems appropriate.

4. ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP DUE: is a minimum of N1,000.00.  We appeal that we all register to become full members of our parish.
5. FAMILY HARVEST: God expects each family to appear before Him at least once a year for thanksgiving and re-dedication.  As families, it is important to give thanks in appreciation of His faithfulness and goodness to us and to also rededicate and recommit all members of our families to Him for safe-keeping, provision, defence, sustenance, preservation, good health, victory and joy.  Please note that all members of the Church are expected to celebrate their annual Family Harvests.
6. THE NEEDS OF OUR PARISH: We thank all our members for your continual supports, generosity and personal sacrifice.  Your labour of love will not be in vain.  We appeal to our members to pray concerning the following items which are needed by the church and as led by the Holy Spirit to assist  in donating them
   • Wafer bread (priest wafers & for the congregation)
   • Altar Cross (should be the latest and with steps)
   • Imported sets of chasubles for the use of the Priests, for the celebration of Holy Communion
   • Toyota buses (High roof & Medium room)
   • Copies of Hymn Books

7. INVITATION TO IKOYI ARCHDEACONRY PASTORATE ANNIVERSARY THANKSGIVING:- You are all invited to the 9th Pastorate Anniversary Thanksgiving of our Archdeaconry, Ikoyi Archdeaconry today at 2.00 p.m.  Venue:  Our Saviour’s Church, TBS, Lagos.

WOMEN’S & GIRLS’ ORGANIZATIONS

1. ENDOWMENT FUND:- Church of Nigeria Women’s & Girls’ Endowment Fund will be collected throughout the month of October.  We plead with all our women to please pay generously to any of the clergy wives.  God bless you all and enlarge your coast.  Amen.
2. MOTHERS’ UNION & WOMEN’S GUILD ANNUAL DUES:- Members of the Mothers’ Union & Women’s Guild are hereby reminded of the payment of their annual dues to any of the clergy wives today or within the week.
3. CLASSES FOR 2016 MOTHERS’ UNION ENROLMENT:- The class for 2016 Mothers’ Union Enrolment holds today, immediately after the service at the Chapel Extension. Members should please be punctual.
4. MOTHERS’ UNION HOUSE FELLOWSHIP ZONES AND CO-ORDINATORS:

5. IKOYI ARCHDEACONRY WOMEN’S DAY OF PRAISE:- The Ikoyi Archdeaconry Women’s Day of Praise comes up on Saturday, 8th October, 2016 at Our Saviour’s Church, TBS, Lagos at 10.00 a.m. You are all invited to come and fellowship and give praises to our God.
6. WOMEN’S MEETING/THEALTH TALK: Date: Wednesday, 21st September, 2016 – Health Talk on: ‘Cholesterol’ by Dr (Mrs) Y. Savage-Olusola.  Time: 4.00p.m.  May you be richly blessed as you attend.
7. YOUNG WIVES’ FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMME: Date: Today Sunday, 18th September, 2016 immediately after the first service. Topic:  “SEX, AFFECTION & INTIMACY”.   Speaker:  Mrs. B. Okoro/Mrs. Anu Koleowo.   Venue:  Chapel Extension.
8. COLLECTION OF SACRIFICE CARDS: Please be informed that the collection of sacrifice cards will be done at the main entrance of the church after the withdrawal hymn.  Members should please note and comply.
9. WIDOWS’ WELFARE FUND: Kindly donate towards the Fund established to assist the widows of this church and God would visit you and all yours.

1. CONFIRMATION CLASS: Our Confirmation Service will be holding by God’s grace on 16th October, 2016 at 9.00 a.m. All who are being prepared to be confirmed should be very committed to what they are being taught.  No Class today due to the Pastorate Anniversary Thanksgiving Service.

SEND-FORTH FOR REVD CANON & MRS JOHN IFEANYICHUKWU NRIAMA:- The send-forth for The Revd Canon & Mrs. John Ifeanyichukwu Nriama has been slated for Sunday, 2nd October, 2016 after the second service in the Church Hall.  We appeal to all our parishioners to be physically present to appreciate and honour them.
5. “The Literature and Publications Committee requests the submission of entries for the December 2016 edition of Good Tidings. The entries may be in form of articles, jokes, riddles, cartoons, etc., that would be of benefit to readers. Please send soft copies of your entries to goodtidings@osc-tbs.org. If desired, authors may send in their photographs along with their entries.”
6. INVESTMENT COMMITTEE MEETING:- Members of the Investment Committee would meet on Wednesday, 21st September, 2016 at 12noon prompt at the usual venue.  All members are enjoined to attend.  Very important matters will be discussed.
