  1. WELCOME We heartily welcome you all who are worshipping God along with us today for the first time and pray that His love would be  extended to you and members of your families. Kindly complete the form given to you and hand it over to the members of the church’s WELCOME TEAM who will meet with you at the CHOIR OFFICE point immediately after the service. Kindly join them through the Exit by  the Lectern side of the church.
  2. DAILY HOLY COMMUNION SERVICE: Join us at the 7.15 a.m. service in the Chapel every day this week.
  3. CONFIRMATION CLASS: Confirmation class holds immediately after the 1100Hrs Service today, the Confirmation will take place on Sunday, 18th October, 2015 at 9 a.m.
  4. APPRECIATION – RE: 2015 CHILDREN & YOUTHS’ HARVEST:–   We give God all the glory and appreciate our Chairman at last Sunday’s Children & Youths’  Harvest, Chief (Barrister)  & Mrs. Musa Danjuma; the Parents of the Day, Mr. & Mrs. Onuorah Orji;  the Cake Unveilers, Major General (Dr) & Mrs Napoleon Amarie, all their supporters and invited guests, and all members of the congregation that contributed to the success recorded.  May God  continue to shower His blessings on you all.
  5. COMMUNITY HYMNS SINGING FOR SEPTEMBER BABES: We rejoice with all the September Babes as they mark their month today during our Community Hymns Singing at 6.00 p.m.  Please come with your friends and family membersMay His abundant blessings be upon you as you turn-up for the service.
  6. THE PARISH CHURCH COUNCIL MEETING:The PCC members will meet on Thursday, 24th September, 2015 at 5 p.m.    Venue: Church Hall.   All members are to please collect their papers from the Front Office today or within the week.
  7. GLORIOUS NIGHT (VIGIL) FOR THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER:– Date:  Friday, 25th September, 2015.  Theme: “The fullness of time” (Luke 1: 57-80)”  Time:  10.30 p.m. – 5.00 a.m.  Come and you will be richly blessed.
  8. Choir Festival 2015: Our Saviour’s Church [TBS] Choir invites you to her Annual Choir Festival  taking place next Sunday the 27th of September 2015 at 5.00 p.m.
  9. GLORIOUS CHANGE OF BATTON: We congratulate our Prince Ademola Dada who completed his three-year tenure as the 28th Chairman of the Island Club and handled the batton to our Barr. Oladipo Okpeseyi, SAN as the 29th Chairman.  We congratulate the new Chairman, and  pray that his tenure will usher in monumental fruitfulness.
  10. IKOYI ARCHDEACONRY BOARD:   The Board meets on Wednesday, 23rd September, 2015 at 11 a.m.  All members, please note.

CHURCH HOUSE FLATS: The six flats in the Church Block of Flats in Ikoyi are available for corporate or individual tenants.  The road (Obadeyi Close) has recently been rehabilitated with proper drains and interlocking paving stones.  Interested prospective tenants for one or all of the flats (individuals or companies) should please contact the Admin. Manager or call 0803-717-7670  & 0803-400-8921.
  12. MISSION SEED ENVELOPES: You are invited to help empower His  Grace, our Diocesan Bishop to help needy parishes and the mission fields in the diocese, within and outside the country by contributing at least One thousand Naira monthly towards the Mission Seed Project.  Mission Seed  is collected every first Sunday of the month, but you could also pay during the week.  Please collect and use a set of envelopes to help you pay regularly and God will bless you abundantly.
  13. TITHE ENVELOPES: God has asked you to obey Him by bringing in the FULL tithes into His storehouse and put Him to test if He will not rain blessings on you. To help you do this, the church has provided envelopes for regular tithing. Please collect yours from the Guild of Stewards. The Lord will bless you with His  abundance as you obey Him.  Tithes will be  collected  TODAY and on every third Sunday of the month.  Please note that you can continue to pay your tithe at any other time of the week or make a direct transfer to the Church’s Bank account.

APPRECIATION FROM THE FAMILY OF REV CANON & MRS OREOLUWA AGBELUSI:- The family of Revd Canon & Mrs. OreOluwa Agbelusi expresses deep appreciation to the Vicar and his wife, the Curates and their wives, PCC members, the Choir, Praise Band, Boys & Girls’ Brigade, and all members of the congregation of Our Saviour’s Church, TBS, Lagos, for your support in various ways during and after the funeral ceremonies of our father – Pa Amos Agbelusi. Our prayer is that you will all live long and continue to enjoy the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.  Your children will become pride of nations in Jesus name.

BUSINESS FELLOWSHIP’S 2015 MARKET FAIR, EXHIBITION AND BUSINESS DIRECTORY:-   The Business Fellowship invites members of the church to showcase their products/services at its 2015 Market Fair.   Exhibition and launching of Business Directory would hold on Saturday 24th October 2015 between 9am and 6pm at the Church Hall to mark her 16th Anniversary with business talk on raising funds for SMES.    Corporate and Individual sponsors for the programme would be welcome.

  1. LITERATURE & PUBLICATION COMMITTEE: The Literature and Publications Committee requests articles, jokes, cartoons and other content for the December edition of Good Tidings. Please send copies of your entries to goodtidings@osc-tbs.org. We appreciate all those who have continued to support us through advertisements. We will appreciate more advertisements and goodwill Christmas messages in the December edition of the magazine. The rates for advertisements are:
    1. Cover pages (inside and outside)      – N200,000
    2. Full page inside                                     – N50,000
    3. Half page inside                                    – N30,000

PARISH CHARITY DAY:  The next Parish Charity Day will take place on Saturday, 24th October, 2015 at 10 a.m.  Donations of Rice, Beans, Noodles, Yams, Beverages, Household utensils, Clothings in good condition and cash would be appreciated.  Please put a smile on the faces of the needy and God will richly bless you for it.
  1. WOMEN’S GUILD MEETING/TALK: Date: Wednesday, 23rd September, 2015.  Contemporary Issue on ‘The Temple of God’ by Mrs. Augusta Ikeakor.  Time: 4.00p.m.  May you be richly blessed as you attend.
  2. MOTHERS’ UNION & WOMEN’S GUILD ANNUAL DUES:Members of the Mothers’ Union & Women’s Guild are hereby reminded of the payment of their annual dues to any of the clergy wives today or within the week.
  3. CLASSES FOR MOTHERS’ UNION ENROLMENT:- The class for 2015 Mothers’ Union Enrolment holds today, immediately after the service at the Chapel Extension.  Members should please be punctual.
  1. FOOD BANK: The Youth Ministry has started a Food Bank in the church. This service seeks to provide raw food stuffs and beverages for members who have nothing to eat. Kindly go to the rear entrance of the Church Hall if you find this helpful. Kindly note that this is a covenant arrangement, only those in need should visit the place. Please, also feel free to join us to bring smile to faces that are stranded by providing for them through this medium.   2. 2015 ELDERS’ FELLOWSHIP 2 DAYS RESIDENTIAL CAMP:- Date: Tuesday 6th to Thursday, 8th October, 2015.  Venue:  Faith Plaza, Bariga.  Theme:  The Ten Virgins (Matt. 25: 1-13).  Fee:  N3,000.00 per elder.  Those interested should please put down their names with at the Admin’s Office.
  3. MEMBERS’ APPEAL FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: A couple who are very active in the church need assistance to brighten up their lives and home.  Kindly stretch your hand of love to them.  Please write cheques in the name of the church and endorse “Couple”.  God bless you abundantly.

A PAYMENT POINT has been created near the Archbishop Adetiloye                  Conference Room.  A cashier is available at the point on Sundays immediately after each service and on Wednesdays and Saturdays. COMPULSORY PRE-MARRIAGE COUNSELLING: Please note that the pre-marriage counselling  has started.  The purpose of Counselling is to prepare our children on how to establish and maintain harmony in their marriages.  The programme is intensive and will take minimum of 12 weeks. Every potential couple should take note and avail themselves of this golden opportunity.  Parents should also note that this should be the first step in preparation for their children’s wedding. We expect all the “about to be married”  members to take note!  Clearance will not be given for wedding until the course is completed.
  4. We share in the pains of Amb. Olu & Mrs. Bunmi Adeniji on the call to glory of their sister-in-law and younger sister respectively –  Ms Bridget Arinola Munis  –  Aged:  62 years.  She was buried last Friday, 18th Sept. 2015
