GREETINGS AND FELICITATION

- All glory, honour and praises to God for His faithfulness and goodness that have hitherto preserved all of us. We welcome all our parishioners and other worshippers at this service. God will surround all of us with His presence and favour, and also steadily and with Divine speed fulfill His purposes in our lives and families in Jesus name.
- 2018 ROGATION / HARVEST LAUNCH:– Today, we mark our Year 2018 Rogation/Harvest Season Launch and Planting. We welcome our Chief planter, Mr & Mrs Gabriel Oramasionwu, together with their supporters, other invitees, members of the congregation and pray that the Lord will continue to bless us all. Pledge Forms and Donation Envelopes for your seeds are to be completed and submit to the Guild of Stewards today or within the week. As we all sow to the Lord, may His grace and favour continue to be upon us so as to reap bountifully.
- We welcome all those who are worshipping with us for the first time into our midst and pray that God will orchestrate new and unimaginable miracles in their lives and families. We appeal that they should kindly wait briefly after the service to interact with the “WELCOME TEAM.” They are to exit the church through the door on the lectern side of the church.
- We congratulate and felicitate with all those who celebrate their birthdays, wedding anniversaries, and other landmark events this week. God will continue to protect and guide them. He will also sustain their joy and continue to be mindful of them and their desires and aspirations in Jesus name.

- SECURITY OF MEMBERS
- a) Members are implored to use the car park that we paid for at the Tafawa Balewa Square directly behind our church building every Sunday. We wish to ensure adequate security during all our programmes and activities. Security operatives will be more effective if there is free movement in the compound.
- b) We also appeal that we should all cooperate with and obey the security personnel because they are working for our good.
- c) Please all worshippers are sensitized to be vigilant during services and other activities and they should not leave their personal belongings unattended because of hoodlums that may be mingling with us.
- MONTHLY BAPTISM: Our baptism holds every first Saturday of the month. Please plan to key into this, as your preferred date could clash with other programmes and can lead to rejection of your date.
INFORMATION FROM THE DIOCESE:-
- TOUCH NOT MY ANOINTED AND DO MY PROPHETS NO HARM:- Our Saviour’s Church, TBS, Lagos is known worldwide as a peaceful, Bible-believing and Bible-living Church. Therefore, we appeal to all our parishioners and other worshippers to jettison, discountenance and ignore any libelious, damaging and derogatory fliers/handbills against our Primate, Bishop and any other servants of God that may come to them in any form or shade. Please destroy such documents.
- THE 3RD SESSION OF THE 33RD SYNOD OF THE ANGLICAN DIOCESE OF LAGOS: By the grace of God our Synod which will as usual be presided over by His Grace, The Most Rev’d Dr. E.A. Ademowo, OON, FNAL, will start with the Opening Service at the Cathedral Church of Christ, Marina, Lagos, today Sunday, 6th May, 2018 to start by 4.00 p.m. The Synod meetings will hold at Our Saviour’s Church, TBS, Lagos, from tomorrow Monday, 7th May, 2018 to Wednesday, 9th May, 2018, to start at 8.00a.m. daily. The Clergy Conference will take place at Faith Plaza on Thursday, 10th May, 2018, at 9.00a.m. Prayers are requested for the President of Synod, all the Guests, Clerical and Lay representatives from within and outside the Diocese. Also pray for the huge success of the Synod.

- 2018 ANNUAL DUES: All women are reminded of the payment of Mothers’ Union & Women’s Guild annual dues of N2,000= each. Kindly see the Vicar’s wife or any of the Curates wives for the payment.
- WIDOWS’ WELFARE FUND: Kindly donate towards the Fund established to assist the widows of this church and God would visit you and all yours.
OTHER INFORMATION FROM OUR PARISH
- A 4-DAY POWER PACKED REVIVAL: There will be a 4-day power packed revival in this church from Sunday 13th – Wednesday, 16th May, 2018 with the Theme: “The All Sufficient God” (Text: Gen. 17). Sunday 13th will be at 8 a.m and 11 a.m. services, while Monday 14th to Wednesday 16th May, 2018, the service starts at 5.00 p.m. each day. - OVERCOMERS’ HOUR:- Our Overcomers’ Hour has now been changed from 1st Day of every month to the 1st Saturday of the month from 8 – 9.30am (so as create time for weddings and other services) with lots of prayers, deliverance, anointing etc.

- THE ELDERS FELLOWSHIP OF OUR SAVIOUR’S CHURCH, TBS, LAGOS: The monthly meeting of the Elders Fellowship of Our Saviour’s Church, TBS, Lagos which should take place on Wednesday, 9th May, 2018 will no longer hold because of the Synod. The meeting has therefore been moved to Wednesday, 16th May, 2018. It will take place at the usual venue, the Chapel Extension, at 10.00 am prompt. All elders in the church of 65 years and above are cordially invited.
- SEMINARY – ST. ANNE’S SCHOOL OLD STUDENTS ASSOCIATION (SSASOGA): holds its general meeting on Sunday, 13th of May, 2018. This new date is to increase the time available to prepare for the Re-union of all Old Girls scheduled for August 11, 2018 at Ibadan, among other activities. Venue: Board Room, Faculty of Science, University of Lagos. Time: 2.00pm prompt. All Old Girls are requested to endeavour to endeavour to attend, also to inform all others within their reach.
