GREETINGS AND FELICITATION

    1. All glory, honour and praises to God for His faithfulness and goodness that have hitherto preserved all of us. We welcome all our parishioners and other worshippers at this service. God will surround all of us with His presence and favour, and also steadily and with Divine speed fulfill His purposes in our lives and families in Jesus name.
    2. We welcome all our eminent guests (first timers) very specially and pray that God will orchestrate unusual testimonies in their lives and families in Jesus name. We appeal to them to fill the form given to them and to also wait briefly to see the ‘WELCOME TEAM” after this service. They are also enjoined to each take a copy of our bulletin for reference.
    3. Congratulatory felicitations to all the birthday celebrants of the week. We also congratulate all those who are having their wedding anniversaries this week. We wish them all longevity, robust health, sustained joy, divine peace and accomplishment in Jesus name.
  2. ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP DUE:  Please note that our annual membership due is now minimum of N2,000= for each member. We appeal that we all register to become full members of our parish, and pay our dues promptly.
  3. ECCLESIASTES 5: 4-6: when you make a vow to God, do not delay fulfilling it; for he has no                 pleasure in fools.  Fulfil what you vow.  It is better that you should not vow than that you should vow       and not fulfil it.  Do not let your mouth lead you into sin, and do not say before the messenger that it was a mistake; why should God be angry at your words, and destroy the work of your hands?

  1. FAMILY HARVEST/THANKSGIVING:  We appreciate all our parishioners and other worshippers for your generosity in various ways. In view of the fact that  Family Harvest/Thanksgiving is mandatory as a way of expressing gratitude to God for His unquantifiable love and goodness and to also rededicate and re-commit our entire families unto Him for continued protection and fresh grace, we have to draw the roster for all the families in the church. Please cooperate with us and if the date given to any family is not convenient, please see the Vicar and /or the Wardens with an alternative date and if your family name is omitted, please notify us for inclusion. God bless you richly in Jesus name.

INFORMATION FROM THE CHURCH OF NIGERIA:

  1. SUPPORT FOR CLERGY STIPENDS IN SELECTED DIOCESES OF THE CHURCH OF NIGERIA: We sincerely appreciate our parishioners who have responded positively to the Primate’s passionate appeal concerning the payment of clergy in a number of our dioceses across the nation. God will continue to increase them in all good things and also on all sides. We still appeal to many others who are in positions to do so to kindly emulate them.  Please let us assist in alleviating the problems of these clergymen and their dependants.

  6. ARCHDEACONRY PRAISE DAY: A day of praise comes up on 30th September, 2017 at St. John’s Church, Falomo. All women are to be in their White & Blue.
  7. MOTHERS’ UNION ENROLMENT: Enrollment for 2017 has started, please liaise with Mrs. Emamoke Dare or Vicar’s Wife for details.
  8. WIDOWS’ WELFARE FUND: Kindly donate towards the Fund established to assist the widows of this church and God would visit you and all yours.
